Laughlin River Run

2008

We had an excellent trip to the Laughlin River Run this year. We had 8 men go, representing  chapters from Texas and Louisiana. This year due to the cost of the fuel we elected to ride our bikes out there instead of trailering behind the motor home. The First Southern Baptist Church of Bull Head City AZ allowed us to camp in 2 of their Sunday School rooms and the women of the church prepared us breakfast every morning. We shared Jesus with a lot of people, bikers, convenience store clerks, motel clerks, a Bull Head City motor cop and a deputy sheriff, but on the way home we got to share Jesus and pray with a young man in a fast food restaurant in New Mexico. He was very hungry spiritually. He shared some of the things he is going through in his life and we prayed for him and currently are trying to set him up with a pastor or someone in his area to check up on him and disciple him. While the rally may not have been as big as years past I think we had a great year because of the ministry God allowed us to be a part in and the bonding we made as Brothers in this family. Also great news, hopefully within a couple of months we will have a C.R. chapter on its feet and running in Las Vegas NV. To see Pictures from the trip click on the Picture below.
